Food & Beverage - Clean-in-Place (CIP) Systems

Some of the strictest cleanliness and quality standards are found in the food and beverage industry. 3A, BRC, SQF, FDA and numerous other regulatory firms constantly monitor and push companies to improve their sanitation abilities and maintain a safe consumer product. Labor costs can become insurmountable for the individual companies trying to comply. This is where Systems Interface can bring a solution.

Yeast Tanks

Systems Interface brings over 35 years of experience designing, manufacturing and maintaining control systems in the food and beverage industry. Additionally, with the acquisition of Yeast Systems in 2014, we bring over 25 years of experience in the baking and dairy industries. Services include:

  • New System Installations
  • System Relocations
  • Upgrades of Existing Systems
  • Complete System Repair
  • System Tune-ups and Optimization
  • Annual or Periodic Audits
  • Operator and Maintenance Training
  • All System Parts and Equipment
  • CIP Validation Systems

Call us for additional information on any of the bullet points above or on Batch Controllers, heat exchangers, refrigeration units, Clean-in-place processes (CIP), or information on how to improve the efficiency of your yeast control system.

In addition to material handling controls, we specialize in robust automated process controlled Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems using the latest technology. We designed some of the first CIP systems in the early 1990's. Though almost all of those systems continue to run with proper maintenance, we have redesigned the turn-key system to be more user friendly, cost efficient, easier to upgrade and even more robust and reliable.

Our latest CIP systems, redesigned in 2018, include the following features:

Full process trending:

  • Graphical Temperature Charts
  • CIP duration
  • CIP alarms
  • Average Chemical concentrations
  • CIP cycles Selected and Performed

Process Verification and Monitoring:

  • Flow rates
  • pH levels
  • Conductivity levels
  • Temperatures

System Enhancements

  • PLC upgrades for robustness and longevity
  • New HMI's for ease of operation and troubleshooting

Our systems can come as a base turn-key solution for any of your CIP needs. However; we offer a wide range of customer customizable options such as extra process variables to be monitored; extra trending options to be included, and customer input on graphical interface design as may be required.

The features we provide ensure that our CIP system will pass BRC, SQF, FAD, 3A and various other industry specifications to ensure your product remains consumer ready.

Take advantage of our experience in food industry CIP systems and contact Systems Interface today to discuss upgrading your current CIP systems or installing a new one.

Our typical CIP Skid

Our typical CIP skid contains a heater, heat exchanger, CIP tank, flow transmitter, ph and Conductivity sensors, ph and conductivity controller, CIP low and high level probes, pump motors, valves, and local area disconnects.

To the right of the Skid you will notice the NEMA 4X stainless steel CIP control panel which houses the HMI terminal, the motor circuit protectors and contactors, and the programmable controller. Note the convenience outlet on the front of the panel which allows a programmer a safe way to access the panel.
